I will certainly do my best, though I'm not sure if I'll go this graphic in the future. It was fun doing the Jack Ketchum/Ed Lee thing, but I can see the limitations in it. Still, it was fun! |

I'm on this one now, as of yesterday. I had to decide whether to start this or The Spawning as my next read. The Spawning is getting some great press from ttzuma on this here forum but I was feeling in the mood for Devil Next Door first. So far it's great. I shall shortly be off to read it over a load of drink in the pub round the corner. There bugger all else to do in Korea except booze and what better way to booze than with a Tim Curran book. |

Hey, thanks. Nice to hear from you and glad you like my stuff. I think The Devil Next Door was definitely not of The-Monster-Jumps-Out-of-the-Closet school...it was more of the Kill-Kill-Kill-Drag-the-Body-Across-the-Page-and-Let-the-Reader-Smell-It-Feel-It-Taste-It school (well, maybe not taste it...but maybe someone will come up with that app? Microsoft Word 2045 could be killer!) |

This book is on my top 10 horror of all time. Something about it! I visualized so much of it, it was like I was there during certain parts! I love the radio broadcast! I love all radio broadcasts in movies and books. Warnings from emergency broadcast systems etc. Bc you truly know the sh*t has hit the fan! And the radio announcer was so great in this book....just that one paragraph gaves me chills. Loved this friggin' book!!! |

Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I kind of liked the idea of a lone guy broadcasting away to...no one. |

Radio broadcasts, and emergency broadcast things on the television in horror books and movies are a HUGE part in letting the viewer or the reader let them know the SHIT IS HITTING the fan!!!! |
