The Influence by Ramsey Campbell is in stock. This is a profoundly great book, one of Campbell's most tightly plotted and horrific novels. This edition is slightly oversize at 7 x 10 inches. It includes a new introduction by Peter Atkins, a new afterword by Ramsey Cambell, and a 50+ page interview with Campbell by Stefan Dziemianowicz. The best thing about this new edition is the photographs of J.K. Potter. These photographs were originally commissioned back in the late 1980s by Scream/Press. But Scream never did publish this book, and Potter's photographs languished on a shelf for 20 years. Now they are in this new edition, printed in gorgeous duotones. There is also an afterword by Potter and several outtakes. The edition is printed on two different paper stocks with full bleed images. It is signed by Campbell and Potter, and has a printed cloth cover, ribbon marker, sewn binding, and top edge stain. It is a very attractive book and we hope you will express some interest.
