Holy Cow! I just read the news over at Tim's board! Steve...you got yourself one hell of an author there! Tim Curran may just be the best little known horror author waiting to be discovered by the mainstream press in America today! His Dead Sea is fantastic, one of the best horror stories I've ever read, and his recent re-release of Skin Medicine is a rip roaring read. I hate to make this analogy, but I will...Tim writes an old fashioned, monster in your face, character oriented horror just like Stephen King used to do...and you just don't read that much of this type of horror anymore. Dead Sea had me at the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it, the guy sure knows how to write about creatures that can scare the hell out of you. This year is going to be great! Tom Piccirilli, Gary Braunback, and Tim Curran...you are a horror fan's dream of a publishing house! Now if I can only get you to invoice me so I can order and read Concrete Jungle and Steve G.'s new book. Tt |
