Check Out ‘Or So the Story Goes…,’ An Award-Winning Horror Web Series (Rumplestiltskin Slasher)

Beginning as a teen outreach program to teach filmmaking, the series has become an award winning PG-13 horror series and still uses numerous teens in its cast and crew, including 15-year-old Rainni Moran as Assistant Director. This Season, GOLDEN RULE is a teen slasher twist on Rumplestiltskin in which the community of Kingstown must fight for their lives when a masked killer begins targeting those close to the girl that once got away.

Since its origin the series has traveled to numerous comic cons (Tampa Bay Comic Con, Super Megafest, Wizard World Philly, Pittsburgh and Chicago to name a few) with panels on the show. Additionally it has won many awards including; Best Horror Series at Vancouver Webfest and Minnesota Web Fest, Best Teen Series at Baltimore Web Fest, and has been nominated for three Indie Series Awards this awards season.

The nine-episode season runs on the digital platform at the official site, as well as on Roku & AppleTV via the SeekaTV app. The series has garnered the attention of bloggers, podcasts and journalists – with coverage appearing at WebVee Guide, Indie Series Network, Buzzfeed, and more.
